What Head Start is

Head Start is a personal preparation planner for SQE1 and SQE2, built by Tadhg Group. It began as a personal study tool and has been made available for other people to use. It is not a course, and it is not an official or complete source of SQE material.

Not legal advice

Nothing on this site is legal advice. Do not rely on it as advice about your own legal situation or anyone else's.

Not to be relied on as SQE material

The planner, lessons and questions are study aids only. They may contain mistakes, may be incomplete and may be out of date, because the law and the SQE assessment change. Do not treat them as certain or authoritative. Check every rule, date and figure against the SRA specification for your sitting, primary sources and your own course materials. Sessions marked "check currency" need particular care.

No affiliation

Head Start is independent. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Solicitors Regulation Authority, any course provider or any publisher. Books and resources are mentioned as optional suggestions only.

No responsibility for results

Using Head Start does not guarantee any exam result or outcome. To the fullest extent the law allows, Tadhg Group accepts no responsibility or liability for any failure, loss or damage that comes from using the site or relying on its content, including failing any part of the SQE. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Access

Tadhg Group may refuse, suspend or withdraw access to the site, or to any account if accounts are introduced, for any person at its discretion, and may change or remove content or features at any time without notice.

Banned users

If you owe Tadhg Group money, you are banned from using this site. You will know who you are.

Content

The lessons and session plans are original work. You may use them for your own study. Please do not copy or republish them without permission.
